DisneyBounding Looks Part 1: Princesses

You’ve probably heard of DisneyBounding, but if you haven’t, the gist of it is this: using regular everyday clothes (or some fabulous vintage pieces) to create the look of a Disney character without wearing a costume. It’s the best of both worlds! Dress as your favorite character but in a fashionable way that’s more grown-up, and much more convenient!

Part One: Princesses
What is Disney without princesses? Here are four princess inspired looks!

Let’s start strong with the Snow Queen herself! To create Elsa’s ethereal vibe put this adorable aqua ruffle top from Hempton’s with this blue tulle skirt by Unique Vintage. Add a matching ice blue belt and this snowflake necklace from Rocklove to create the perfect Elsa look! Now you’re ready to journey Into The Unknown!

To emulate Rapunzel’s signature look, you can wear this fabulous purple dress and sweet baby pink cardigan (modeled by our In-Store Stylist, Gwen Stacy) both at Hempton’s Retro. The pastel palette and the puffed sleeves are so essentially Rapunzel! Pair them with the Best Day Ever Necklace from Make it Minnie and a lantern crossbody by Danielle Nicole.

This look inspired by Belle’s classic village outfit features two must-have pieces from Hempton’s! This classic white top is an elevated version of the t-shirt we all know and love, with its stretchy knit and unique sweetheart neckline. And this royal blue circle skirt is so versatile that it’s in two DisneyBound looks in this series! Complete the look with this rose necklace from Make It Minnie and a magic mirror bangle by Alex and Ani.

Snow White

The Princess who started it all… Snow White. To get her classic primary color look, pair this yellow circle skirt with this dark blue blouse with red buttons, both from Hempton’s Retro Threads. Top it off with the One Bite necklace from Make It Minnie, and a red bow headband for this sweet look!

Keep an eye out for Part Two, here is a hint at what’s next!
